ABOUT US
Worldview Development USA (Worldview, USA) was formed as a nonprofit organization located in New York City, to provide US citizens the opportunity to become a part of the Global Village. Worldview Development USA (WDUSA) is committed to fostering global collaboration and empowering communities to implement sustainable development solutions that address the most pressing challenges of our time.
In partnership with the Worldview International Foundation (WIF), a globally recognized nonprofit with over four decades of experience, WDUSA seeks to bridge the gap between the U.S. and international communities through innovative projects in climate mitigation, food and health equity, and environmental sustainability.
Our mission is to create a Global Village, where individuals and organizations work hand-in-hand to develop long-term strategies that uplift vulnerable populations, enhance environmental resilience, and promote social mobility. WDUSA seeks to connect the Global Village with a common goal of creating sustainable development, and climate change solutions in the lives of underserved communities around the world.
As a member of our Global Village, you will be actively supporting projects that support environmental awareness and creating a better quality of life for those living in poverty around the world. WDUSA is actively working to create public-private partnerships that bring the USA and international communities together through sustainable development projects that promote social mobility worldwide.
Why mangroves matter
Mangroves, often associated with tropical coastlines, are critical protectors of communities worldwide, not just in underdeveloped regions. These resilient ecosystems act as natural barriers against tsunamis, storm surges, and coastal erosion, absorbing and dissipating wave energy before it reaches shorelines. By stabilizing coastlines and reducing the impact of extreme weather events, mangroves protect coastal populations, infrastructure, and habitats in diverse regions—from Southeast Asia to the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
But their benefits extend further. Mangroves are effective carbon sinks, absorbing large amounts of CO2 while producing oxygen, helping combat climate change and improving air quality. They also filter pollutants from water, reducing sea pollution and supporting marine life by trapping sediments and absorbing toxins. As global climate patterns intensify, the role of mangroves becomes even more crucial for communities everywhere, including developed nations like those in Florida and Louisiana. By supporting mangrove restoration and conservation, Worldview Development USA is committed to implementing nature-based solutions that protect people and ecosystems, building a more resilient and sustainable Global Village for all.
